Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum Clinic "The Mental Game"

$59.95

West Coast Active Riders present the legendary rider, Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, in a rare United States appearance.

"I am designing a course with top German course designer, Frank Rothenberg. In the clinic I will cover the flatwork I think is essential to good riding. I will talk about the pre-competition warmup, planning and riding the course and address the mental side of the sport - for me the most important."                                        --Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum

Five riders from the Gold Medal Zone 10 North American Young Riders Team - Karl Cook, Aurora Griffin, Katie Harris, Callie Layland and Saer Coulter - face Meredith in a one-on-one clinic. Meredith challenges the riders to think about what they are doing and why. She addresses common problems in riding and the four elements needed to jump a course successfully. Meredith teaches her unique combination of American and German style of riding and reveals the secrets to her success.

Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum is the first female rider in jumping to be ranked number one in the world. And, on the eve of this clinic, held at HITS at Thermal, California, she received word that she was again ranked number one. A California native, Meredith is now a German resident and the first woman to compete for Germany on a championship team. Winner of over a $1,000,000 prize money in 2007, she was also named the European Jumping Champion that year. She was the World Cup Champion in 2005 and represented the German Olympic Team in Hong Kong in 2008.

The Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum Clinic "The Mental Game" is a unique opportunity for riders and trainers to learn from a world class equestrian.
