Creating a Video of my Teaching for EC.com

I spent one full day with two cameramen, several of my students and a variety of horses to create a clinic and a few training tips for online viewing.  I was fairly nervous as I am a camera shy person.  The cameramen were friendly and helpful as we got started filming.

They prompted me on where to sit or stand, where to look and generally what they needed from me.  It became easier and more fun as the day progressed.

My Clinic topic is knowing your horses "Pace and Energy"as I feel it transcends our Hunter/Jumper and Equitation flat work and jumping discipline.  My view on teaching riding is that riders need a secure, balanced position in order to function well and guage their horses pace and feel their energy to accomplish specific excersizes and courses.

It is very satisfying when these elements come together and we have a good schooling session or a nice round in the show ring.

There is so much to be learned on the EquestrianClinics.com web site, congratulations to us for logging on to further ourselves here!
