Sample Jumping Clinic

Video Jumping Clinic

Member submission video is from a rider competing in the Green Rider Division at the L.A. Equestrian Center.

Trainer/Judge’s Comments:

“You sit up too tall, much like a German jumper rider instead of an American equitation rider. You also begin to sit straight-up while the horse is on his decent but is still in the air. You also lost the correct lead about 2 or 3 strides before the right lead jump on the far side from the camera. Practice over some grids, so you can feel confident that you will arrive to the jumps correctly. And practice staying over – - tilting more forward.”
